Sponges are gross! I only use these Norwex sponges because they actually clean themselves of bacteria, while standard sponges breed bacteria. These are are dual-purpose, sustainable, and hygienic combining a scrubby side for tough grime with a highly absorbent Norwex EnviroCloth microfiber side. They are durable, machine-washable, and feature BacLock® antimicrobial agent to prevent bacterial odor, reducing the need for disposable sponges. The densely woven, superfine fibers physically remove up to 99% of bacteria from a surface using only water. I replace mine about once a year, no joke.
